Why we're doing this

Before building anything, we want a grounded understanding of:

• How BNG reports are produced end‑to‑end today
• Where time is lost to rework, coordination, or version control
• How teams respond to DEFRA metric changes and planning authority feedback
• What is hardest to quality‑assure or delegate

Our goal is to avoid building tools that look good in theory but fail in real consultancy environments.

This is not a product pitch. There is no software to buy and nothing to demo.

• Ecology Team Managers
• Principal Ecologists
• Technical Directors (Ecology)

Typically within UK environmental or planning consultancies that:

• Produce BNG reports as part of planning submissions
• Manage multiple projects concurrently
• Are accountable for technical quality and compliance
